Introduction To Making Money By Outsourcing In 2019

What is Outsourcing?

outsourcing is the practice of obtaining goods and services from a foreign supplier. This is most commonly used in industries where there is either a shortage of labor for particular positions or where the cost of labor is too high. For example, software developers or designers.
Outsourcing can be used for any position whatsoever, but today we see companies using it for non-fundamental roles, those whose function is to provide support to the central infrastructure of the company or aid in the day-to-day operations of the company.

Why Should I Sell People’s Skills?

People have being been doing it since the dawn of time, we don’t have enough time to learn & master every craft or to do a certain task. If you ever had a job then that means you got outsourced. The good news is that you can sell other people’s skills as well. What makes the internet so magical is that it connects you to everyone around the globe and I truly think everyone underestimates the power of the Internet, not for what it can do but for what you can do with it.

  • It is remotely online
  • No cost of entry
  • When it comes to scaling the sky is the limit.
  • Huge mock up margin up to 10 X because of the oversea talents.

What makes me feel so pumped is that the Internet gives everyone a fair shot and with time&technology advancing it will only get better and more transparent which means if you’re the real deal, eventually you will be recognized for it. Vice versa,” the ten years of experience on the resume” or the “4.0GPA” may fool the 23 people in the company but as soon as you step into the Internet you’re in risk of being exposed.

How Can I Generate Income By Selling Outsource Skills?

First, you will need to decide what skills you will be offering to other people and be well informed to be able to explain what you’re offering. As simple as it sounds, a lot of people overlook the communication part.

(ask ton of questions if you’re outsourcing a job to someone the first time)

Build your client base,I’ve cover that in the video.

Mock-Up The Price

With platforms like Fiverr and Upwork, you can mock up these service for 5-10 X.Make sure to read additional add-ons the sellers offer and the delivery time which you can up-sell as well.

Other Tips

Avoid selling services like SEO on these outsource platform because of the consequences weights much more than the profit. You should choose services that wouldn’t matter much if it went south because at the end of the day you’re fully responsible which is why I suggest selling designs first to get your feet wet.

You can be honest with your clients. If they ask are you doing it yourself or letting someone else do it? Tell them the truth because honestly wins in the long run.

You can outsource your current job to free up more time or take more responsibilities .which means more paid. Many people are afraid of speaking up or taking actions when they’re an employee and I get it but if I’m being paid $15/hr as an administrator and 70% of my time is spent on data entry, the first thing I would do is hire a data entry assistant for $5/hr and do that for one week. After one week, show what you did to your boss or upper management. Now two scenarios. If you’re in good hand, they will acknowledge you for being brave and thinking outside of the box with raises and promotion. another scenario would be a warning for you to not be a smart ass. I generously think the good out weight the bad so much that is worth for anyone to pull this off.

As I build up my social presence and put out more content I’ll make an intermediate & advanced level blog post along with videos on this topic in the future that will cover how I sell skills to corporate America.
